Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Yard Manager to oversee the daily operations of our yard. The Yard Manager will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring efficient yard operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a thorough understanding of the landscape and hardscape industry. This job is required to work outdoors and indoors in office/sales roles.

Duties:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the yard
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Supervise yard personnel, providing guidance and support as needed
- Collaborate with sales and supply chain management teams to optimize yard operations
- Oversee dispatching activities, assigning drivers to appropriate routes
- Implement and maintain efficient yard layout and organization
- Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment

-Work with new and existing customers to increase ordering efficiency

-Constantly look for sales opportunities with our clients with homeowners and commercial clients

-Work with ownership to improve overall business functionality and efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or previous industry experience preferred
- Proven experience in landscape/construction preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
