Wound Care Services Director jobs in Utah
Wound Care Services Director directs the programs and staff of the wound care services department. Develops and implements wound care services in accordance with the policies of the hospital and the directives of the medical staff. Being a Wound Care Services Director monitors patient progress and treatment plans. Responsible for the education of clinical staff. Additionally, Wound Care Services Director requires a MD degree. Typically reports to top management. Requires license to practice medicine. The Wound Care Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Wound Care Services Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Responsibilites:The Social Services Director will be responsible to identify and provide for each resident’s social, emotional and psychological needs, and the continuing development of the resident’s full potential during his/her stay at the facility and to assist in the planning for his/her discharge.Qualifications:- Two (2) years’ experience in social work is required.
- Health care experience, especially in long term care, is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. (Master's Degree in Social Work, where required).
- Basic understanding of computer technology.
- Must have ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English.
- Must be able to relate favorably to residents and families and to work cooperatively with other employees and personnel of other community agencies.
- Must have knowledge of State and Federal guidelines.
- Must have demonstrated skills in communication, documentation, assessment and social work methods techniques.
