Wound Care Services Director directs the programs and staff of the wound care services department. Develops and implements wound care services in accordance with the policies of the hospital and the directives of the medical staff. Being a Wound Care Services Director monitors patient progress and treatment plans. Responsible for the education of clinical staff. Additionally, Wound Care Services Director requires a MD degree. Typically reports to top management. Requires license to practice medicine. The Wound Care Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Wound Care Services Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     We are seeking a qualified nurse practioner (FNP), board-certified physician assistant (PA-C) or clinical nurse specialis(CNP), with a strong clinical wound care background to work part time and help us grow our regenerative medicine mobile limb salvage and wound care service. We serve the Medicare population in Miami Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. Our non-surgical wound care line of services includes Class 4 deep tissue laser, collagen pellets, and skin grafting technology using umbilical cord patches that can close wounds without the need for surgical intervention.     Qualification and Skills.
    • Master’s or doctorate level
    • Florida State license
    • Board certified practitioner who is qualified to be registered with Medicare.
    • Must be able to be autonomous and build good rapport with patients.
    • Must have ability to work independent of an MD ( over 3600 hours of clinical experience)
