Wound Care Services Director jobs in Chattanooga, TN
Wound Care Services Director directs the programs and staff of the wound care services department. Develops and implements wound care services in accordance with the policies of the hospital and the directives of the medical staff. Being a Wound Care Services Director monitors patient progress and treatment plans. Responsible for the education of clinical staff. Additionally, Wound Care Services Director requires a MD degree. Typically reports to top management. Requires license to practice medicine. The Wound Care Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Wound Care Services Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Wound Providers of America (WPA) is seeking an entrepreneurial minded foot and minor wound care provider to treat patients in assisted living facilities in Chattanooga, north Georgia and surrounding areas. No nights, weekends or call.
Current or previous experience treating patients including foot and minor wound care in a similar position or in an outpatient wound care center or hospital is desirable but not required. Training will be provided.
This is a part time contractor position (minimum two days per week), but days could increase if desired.
WPA offers a highly competitive and unique productivity-based compensation plan.
WPA is led by healthcare principals and medical professionals with extensive wound and foot care and medical practice experience.
