We are currently seeking a Wound Care Clinical Consultant who is responsible for providing effective clinical support, consultation, and training to decision-makers within key customer accounts at medical facilities within our Western territories!

    Hours of operations are Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and after hours on-call rotations.

    The Clinical Specialist promotes our Negative Pressure Wound Therapy Program throughout California with occasional trips to our Chatsworth, CA, Fremont, CA, Santa Fe Springs, CA, and Las Vegas, NV offices. This position is responsible for providing effective clinical support, consultation, and training to decision-makers within key customer accounts, helping the team achieve strategic and revenue goals, providing clinical guidance to the sales and operations teams, assisting the sales team with the execution of in-services for key account rental conversions, conducting clinical rounding to assist with patient outcomes ensuring customer retention. Customer satisfaction and the growth of the NPWT Program will be the main objective for this new position.

    Job Duties:

    • Provide clinical guidance to the Sales Staff, Operations Team, and Customers.
    • Strategic planning with members of the Operations and Sales Teams to achieve and surpass revenue goals.
    • Provide timely answers to customer service and customer inquiries at all hours.
    • Identify customer needs and implement solutions.
    • Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries.
    • Assist the sales team with education and support for key account rental conversions.
    • Achieve revenue growth objectives.
    • Document all customer support calls and communication activity within the CRM tool.
    • Demonstrate and verbalize appropriate technical and clinical applications of products.
    • Possess current knowledge of the market and competitor products.
    • Meet with Territory Managers in the region to develop and update business plans.
    • Participate in bedside consultations and other case specific training.
    • Perform sales calls both in conjunction with members of the sales team as well as independently.
    • Demonstrates courtesy and patience when dealing with co-workers as well as customer staff.

    Required Qualifications:

    • A minimum of 1 year as a Registered Nurse and Wound Care professional. Associate/Bachelor of Science graduate in nursing field.
    • Wound Care Certification: CWOCN, CWCN, COCN, CCCN, or CWON credential and maintain credentials throughout tenure.
    • Must maintain a flexible work schedule including the ability to provide in-service education and training as needed. This may occasionally be necessary after normal business hours or on weekends and holidays.
    • Valid driver’s license and good working vehicle.
    • Satisfactory results from a pre-employment health screening and background check.
    • Participate in Clinical support after-hours on-call rotations.

    Skills:

    • Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel promptly.
    • Strong attention to detail, ability to maintain focus with intermittent distractions.
    • Strong organization and time management skills.
    • Professionalism and mature sense of accountability.
    • Experience with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point are required.
    • The ability to teach and present to large groups when needed is a must.
    • Safe techniques should be employed in all aspects of the job and the workplace.
