We are seeking a CNC Lathe Operator to join our 1st Shift. We manufacture close tolerance, precision machined plastic parts, which are sold to customers in a variety of industries.
Job Purpose: Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
Job Duties:
* Sets-up CNC lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices; tramming heads.
* Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards.
* Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. * Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
* Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
Knowledge and Experience Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of experience operating a CNC lathe (Mori Seki CNC Lathe with Fanuc Control is a plus). Setup experience a plus.
* Works well with others.
* Ability to read calipers and prints.
* English proficiency.
* Experience in an ISO-9001:2015 certified manufacturing facility.
