Wood Technologist gathers and analyzes data of wood properties to determine best use of wood. Requires a high school diploma with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Wood Technologist has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Additionally, Wood Technologist works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to forester. * Drafting experience with Auto cad not required, but perferred.
This position is full-time. Pay would depend on experience, $22-$34/hr. We offer flexible start time, Monday – Friday, paid vacation, health insurance and retirement contributions. The interview process will include a working interview. Covid 19 vaccination required (both first two vaccines and booster).
