At BFS, you’ll be equipped with all the tools, training, and resources you need, and you’ll be empowered to try new things, gain new experiences, and build a career with unlimited horizons.    PURPOSE   Deliver exceptional service and resolve window-related issues efficiently?  We're seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Window Service Technician.  In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing window problems in both residential settings and new construction projects.     MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS   To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 5 years of window service experience Clean driving record Be able to lift over 100 lbs. consistently. Must be able to pass a pre-hire and random drug test. Must be comfortable using hand and power tools. Work 8-hour shift - Monday through Friday   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   Perform on-site repairs and troubleshooting for window-related issues in customers, homes, and new construction sites.   Collaborate closely with customers and construction superintendents to understand and resolve quality and reliability concerns efficiently.      Identifies additional service needs while at the job-sight and Provides guidance and recommendations on the best approaches for resolving window-related problems.   Maintain clear communication and a professional demeanor while interacting with customers and construction teams.    Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attends periodic safety meetings as required; may recommend changes to improve safety procedures.   Delivers materials to site as required.         7.  Install vinyl/wood window screens and hardware on the jobsites.     COMPETENCIES   Knowledge of company products  Knowledge of company product pricing, discount and estimating formulas and guidelines Strong attention to detail Knowledge of basic math and measurement skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Valid Driver’s License   WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL ACTIVITY   The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.   Subject to both typical office environment and outside locations with temperature and weather variations. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 80 pounds. Work is performed on both company and customer sites and involves driving to customer locations.
