Job Title: Machine Operator - Cabinet Shop
Overview: No experience needed we will train the correct person to Join our team as a machine Operator at our thriving cabinet shop. We're seeking a skilled individual for long term employment experienced in machine operation to contribute to our production process and maintain the high standards of quality craftsmanship our company is known for.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to lift 150 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
- Operate and oversee machines to fabricate precise cabinet components according to design specifications.
- Set up, load, and unload materials onto the machine, ensuring proper calibration and alignment.
- Knowledge of Windows based computer programs
- Monitor machine performance, conduct routine maintenance, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production.
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Preferable experience operating wood working machines, in a cabinet-making or woodworking setting. We will train the right candidate, no experience required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work precisely to achieve high-quality results. - Knowledge of materials commonly used in cabinet making, including wood types and composite materials.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards troubleshooting machine malfunctions.
Education and Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical training or certifications in CNC operation is a plus
