Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Wood Machine Operator relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. We are looking for machine operators who are detail-oriented & enjoy working on a variety of different machines in a fast-paced production environment. Operators should be able to use calipers to verify part measurements & understand how to adjust basic woodworking equipment (sanders, boring machines, saws, etc...) to make corrections if needed. Operators will also be asked to monitor product quality, meet production deadlines, & use a computer system to report time and piece counts for different jobs.
