Being a Wood Machine Operator may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Wood Machine Operator relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Position Description :
A Line Operator / Machine Operator is responsible for performing and maintaining the daily activities associated with a production line.
This includes housekeeping, safety, quality, maintaining production efficiencies, repair and maintenance and minimizing downtime.
This position requires the flexibility to work 40 hours per week and weekends as required. Ability to work varying shifts is also required due to equipment changeovers.
