Women's Athletics Director directs all facets of a university/college's women's athletic program, including intramural and intercollegiate sports. Manages the entire women's coaching staff. Being a Women's Athletics Director schedules use of facilities, transportation, and sporting events. Also responsible for fundraising, publicity, ticket pricing and distribution, and purchase of new equipment. Additionally, Women's Athletics Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Women's Athletics Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     As a Pickleball Coach at ACME Athletics, you will play a pivotal role in leading coaching clinics, managing leagues, organizing tournaments, and providing private lessons to players of all skill levels. Your primary responsibility will be to create a positive and dynamic learning environment, promoting sportsmanship and helping players achieve their pickleball goals.


    Requirements:

    • Experience coaching in sports-related fields; Certification as a Pickleball Coach preferred
    • Strong understanding of pickleball rules, techniques, and strategies
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • High energy, enthusiasm, and passion for pickleball
    • Flexibility schedule to work evenings and weekends and occasionally days
    • Organizational skills and reliability
    • CPR and first aid certification preferred


    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct coaching clinics for individuals and groups
    • Manage pickleball leagues, including scheduling matches and coordinating teams
    • Organize pickleball tournaments, from promotion to logistics on tournament day
    • Provide personalized private lessons to players
    • Maintain effective communication with players, parents, and staff
    • Create a safe and inclusive environment for all participants


    Physical Requirements:

    • Agility and mobility to demonstrate pickleball techniques and movements effectively
    • Ability to move swiftly and react quickly during coaching sessions and tournaments
    • Stamina to sustain energy levels throughout extended coaching sessions and tournament days
    • Capacity to demonstrate various pickleball strokes, footwork, and strategies with precision
    • Comfortable with moderate to intense physical activity, including bending, stretching, and reaching, to facilitate player development and provide hands-on instruction


    What We Offer:


    Competitive Pay:

    Starting  pay is between 18.00 and 20.00 an hour, with the potential to earn additional income through private lessons
