Women's Athletics Director directs all facets of a university/college's women's athletic program, including intramural and intercollegiate sports. Manages the entire women's coaching staff. Being a Women's Athletics Director schedules use of facilities, transportation, and sporting events. Also responsible for fundraising, publicity, ticket pricing and distribution, and purchase of new equipment. Additionally, Women's Athletics Director requires a bachelor's degree. The Head Women’s Basketball Coach is a full-time benefited position responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Women’s Basketball Program. In addition, he/she will assist the Director of Athletics with the long-term planning and development of the program. The Head Women’s Basketball Coach provides effective leadership, recruitment, coaching and monitoring of student-athletes to encourage successful academic and team performance of the women’s basketball teams.
The head women’s basketball coach is responsible for working with the LCCC Foundation to raise operational and scholarship funds for the women’s basketball program. The head women’s basketball coach is also responsible for working with the Director of Athletics and Assistant Director of Athletics on other aspects relating to the Athletic Department.
Other tasks may be assigned based on contemporary institutional need.

Coaching:
Provide effective leadership to student athletes by giving training direction, encouragement, and motivation to prepare athletes for competitive events
Recruitment
Conduct student athlete recruitment including travel by meeting with recruits, parents/guardians, current coaches, current school, and other necessary parties
Facility and Equipment Management
Manage the facility by coordinating, planning, and communicating with all campus programs that utilize the RAC facilities to obtain equitable access that meets the needs of all programs including but is not limited to the Director of Athletics and Assistant Director of Athletics, Instructors, and other coaches.
Administrative Duties
Working to ensure all LCCC and NJCAA policies, procedures, and regulations are being followed and complied with by properly communicating and collaborating with all departments that have influence on such matters.
Other tasks may be assigned based on contemporary institutional need.
