Women's Athletics Director directs all facets of a university/college's women's athletic program, including intramural and intercollegiate sports. Manages the entire women's coaching staff. Being a Women's Athletics Director schedules use of facilities, transportation, and sporting events. Also responsible for fundraising, publicity, ticket pricing and distribution, and purchase of new equipment. Additionally, Women's Athletics Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Women's Athletics Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Responsibilities include:
Scheduling appointments, answering multiple phones lines
Sending and receiving referrals and patient records, collect and record customer payments,
Verify patient insurance, MUST have an understanding of deductibles, copays, coinsurance and the importance of checking these things daily. (If you do not have an understanding of insurance please do not apply) Respond to patient inquires in person and over the phone, develop an understanding of the clinic to effectively address patient concerns, communicate patient needs to provider.
The ideal candidate must have great people skills and be able to build strong relationships with patients, and be able to develop an understanding of insurance benefits.
QUALIFICATIONS: General knowledge of office procedures and computer systems.Excellent interpersonal skills.Ability to explain billing and fees. AAS required, Bachelors preferred. Knowledge of ICD10 and CPT codes preferred. Previous OB/GYN Care experience a plus. Ability to work in fast pace, high volume environment. Previous medical office experience a plus.Knowledge of curemd management system a plus.
