Women's Athletics Director directs all facets of a university/college's women's athletic program, including intramural and intercollegiate sports. Manages the entire women's coaching staff. Being a Women's Athletics Director schedules use of facilities, transportation, and sporting events. Also responsible for fundraising, publicity, ticket pricing and distribution, and purchase of new equipment. Additionally, Women's Athletics Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Women's Athletics Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Regional Director is a full-time leadership position responsible for overall coordination and expansion of WWBIC’s business training and financial wellness programs in an assigned region of the state to meet and exceed program deliverables and ensure exemplary customer satisfaction.
This position will require a Bachelor’s degree. A minimum of five years of experience in economic development or private sector business is required. Must have direct program management and supervisory experience and possess strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. The capacity to function in a fast-paced, growing organization is vital. Must communicate effectively and work collaboratively with diverse audiences, both in groups and one-on-one. Working knowledge of micro-enterprise development and small business preferred. The ideal person is flexible, positive, and has a sense of humor. Must present a positive, professional appearance at all times.
