Shift hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Position Summary: Perform responsibilities within the Customer Service Department while maintaining an atmosphere of accuracy, courtesy and professionalism to the customer.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Create wire templates and schedules
• Perform wire verifications for outgoing wires (i.e., call backs) following all bank procedures
• Monitor the status of wire transfers to ensure deadlines are met
• Balance daily all outgoing & incoming wires to Bankers and Federal Reserve
• Maintain wire logs/GL entries and documentation to comply with audit standards
• Maintain wire transfer customer agreement files and confidentiality
• Backup for receiving and responding to customer service inquiries and problems via phone and/or email
• Backup for handling clerical tasks related to electronic banking such as debit cards, internet banking and telephone banking
• Backup for Customer Service Operations Officer duties

Skills and Abilities:

• Keyboarding Skills
• 10-Key Skills
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Microsoft Office knowledge helpful, including Excel, Word and Outlook
• Good interpersonal skills and customer service skills a must

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent education
• 1-2 years of customer service experience required
• 1-2 years related banking experience preferred

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
• Professional office environment
