(WWR) mesh products to the precast concrete, cast-in-place and construction markets. LEWP has been

Department for a National Product Manager position.
Responsibilities include the following:
• Be an active participant of the EWP sales & engineering team, responding to Company goals
as defined by the VP of Sales & Engineering toward the success and development of LEWP.
• The National Product Manager position reports to the VP of Sales & Engineering.
• Responsibility and oversight of outside sales team (Regional Product Managers, Product
Managers, and Reps).
• As a primary function of this position, achieve National and regional sales tonnage and fiscal
objectives.
• Contribute National and regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans;
maximize sales performance and profitability by clearly understanding and achieving
company goals.
• Manage outside sales team to successfully achieve individual and corporate sales objectives
to include forecast tonnage and profit margin expectations.
• Maintain an estimated 40% National sales travel as required to manage the outside sales
team and regionally assigned sales territory toward achieving customer and prospect call
objectives.
• Participation in identifying specific Product & Market Targets along with development of
strategic plan. Manage the allocation and assignment of sales team resources to establish
strategic goals.
• Tracking of key activity and sales metrics, including account forecasting and trend
management.
• Identify new product opportunities to drive growth and achieve revenue goals.
• Develop and maintain strong customer and specifier relationships, understanding their
needs, and being proactive in sales development. Fulfill all RPM sales duties when assigned
regional sales territory responsibilities.
• Represent LEWP with a visual and leadership presence in the industry which may include
participation with approved associations, events, and committees.
• Manage outside sales team to successfully perform inside sales responsibilities effectively
and efficiently from a home office, managing sales efforts within CRM and maintaining
regular outbound phone call follow up procedures.
• Demonstrate leadership with outside sales team to achieve successful lead procurement,
prospecting, and closing sales of new business opportunities.
• Oversight of the outside sales team to successfully manage the RFQ lifecycle as necessary
from inquiry to post sale follow up. Possess ability to interact and resolve problems in a
timely and effective manner when necessary.
• Attain proficiency with engineering designs to include but not be limited to precast pipe, box
culverts, and structural rebar conversions for the CIP market.
• Driven to remain knowledgeable on current industry trends, engineering specifications and
applications, market conditions along with departmental strategies, competitors' strategies
and key customer fluctuations.
• Support all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
• Ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years' experience in the reinforcing industry
with strong product knowledge of structural steel. Direct WWR mesh experience preferred.
• Ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in a sales management role.
• Candidate would ideally be located in our Eastern Region, preferably the Midwest and
within proximity to the Upper Sandusky, OH Corporate office.
• Ideal candidate would possess a bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline.
• Demonstrated track record of sales success, result driven performance and the ability to
effectively manage outside sales staff and independent representatives.
• Possess computer knowledge with all Microsoft Office Small Business applications, able to
type with proficiency. Familiarity with CRM applications is important, experience with
Salesforce preferred.
• Technology competent with all customary activity essentials such as email, online
navigation, smartphones, laptops and other as deemed required.
• A valid drivers' license and qualified to drive and be insured with company vehicle.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to self-motivate and capable of prioritizing work duties in an efficient manner.
• Language skills with ability to read, analyze, interpret and communicate with the English
language on all aspects of sales correspondence, RFQ's, prints and governmental regulatory
documents is required. Ability communicate in other languages may be a benefit.
