The Wire Transfer Processor reports to the Wire Department Manager and will be responsible for processing incoming wires and outgoing domestic and foreign wire transfers for consumer and business customers accurately and timely through the Wire Transfer System.
Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to:
- Enter, verify, modify, and release of incoming and outgoing wire payments, both domestic and foreign, in US Dollars & Foreign currencies (Domestic and FX Wires).
- Address and resolve customer service issues and inter-department issues through research and analytics of incoming and outgoing wires.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of wires within internal policy standards.
- Identify and escalate non-routine transaction and exceptions to eliminate potential fraud/suspicious situations.
- Respond to and assists internal associates and external customers with all inquiries and traces on wire transfers.
- Assist with testing and upgrades of the wire system.
- Assist Wire Department Manager with internal and external audits and examinations.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, bank policies, and procedures.
- Ability to cultivate relationships with affluent internal associates and external customers.
- Demonstrate positive, proactive, and friendly interpersonal skills, as well as customer service support in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform all duties in relation to the Bank Secrecy Act under the guidance of the BSA Officer.

- College degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
- 1-2 years’ experience previous banking experience required; wire transfer experience preferred.
- Knowledge or experience in FX transactions preferred.
The associate is frequently required to sit and/or stand, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects, tools or controls that are typical or an office/bank environment. Lifting items weighting up to 10 pounds on a consistent basis. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 80% of the work period while operating equipment such as computers, phones, calculators, etc.
Working Conditions:
- Typical office environment.
- Extended viewing of computer screens.
- Regular office hours are Mon thru Friday from 8am to 5pm. At times, working outside of the stated regular hours may be required.
- Occasional travel may be required.
