- Job Title: Industrial Engineer Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 Reports to: General Manager Location: Perris, CA Department: Operations Position Overview: Serves as the primary contact and coordinator for all maintenance projects and new installations. Provides support and works closely in collaboration with the General Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Primary point of contact/coordinator for any maintenance project or new installation start up. Support quotes for new work by reviewing technical requirements and preparing person-hour estimates. Assist in developing detailed recovery plans for existing projects. Perform reviews of contract and design requirements for acceptance of quality notifications. Track status of project schedules and deliverables. Work with General Manager to maintain contract performance metrics. Interface with Engineering to manage change to component designs. Perform special assignments as deemed necessary. Evaluate current manufacturing practices and identify improvements (i.e. Improve efficiency of production processes) Identifies potential areas of product improvement; recommends and assists with development of appropriate solutions. Provides general, entry-level support while working with multi-discipline engineering teams. Ensures compliance with applicable company and client quality requirements in all assigned programs, functions, products, and areas. Performs other related duties as assigned. Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field required. Internship or co-op experience in Industrial Engineering or related fields is a plus. Strong foundational knowledge in manufacturing processes, systems optimization, and efficiency improvement methodologies. Proficiency in using Industrial Engineering tools and software. Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to analyze work processes, workflows, and systems to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements. Basic knowledge of project management principles and the ability to manage small projects or components of larger projects. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across different teams and departments. Ability to plan and manage workload so that assignments are completed on time and in proper priority. Knowledge of spreadsheets and database analysis tools (Excel and PowerBi) Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is a plus. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions Manual dexterity required to use computer and peripherals Ability to physically implement designs Wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, ear protection, safety shoes, gloves and any other protective equipment deemed necessary. Work indoors in non-controlled environmental conditions Work in hot conditions or cold temperatures Exposure to sounds and noise levels that can be distracting or uncomfortable Exposure to minor cuts or burns Exposure to contaminants Exposure to hazardous equipment Work with others in a group or team Occasional travel may be required
