Wellness Program Consultant assists an organization in designing wellness programs that promote healthy employee behaviors. Helps develop and implement wellness initiatives that educate and encourage employees on achieving personal health goals. Being a Wellness Program Consultant analyzes the effectiveness and utilization of wellness programs and recommends changes to improve outcomes and employee satisfaction. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or in a related area. Additionally, Wellness Program Consultant typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Wellness Program Consultant work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     Under general supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary care team, provides nutritional care for patients of all ages with complex nutritional needs. Responsibilities include assessment, treatment and provides medical nutrition therapy, documents findings and recommendations; plans and implements nutrition intervention. Provides direct supervision over the daily work assigned to the Registered Diet Technician.

    Required qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition/Dietitian

    • National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration upon hire

    • 1 year experience in nutrition counseling and education

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Computer/electronic medical record experience-preferably MEDITECH

    • Electronic diet office computer experience-preferably CBORD

    • Nutrition care process documentation experience
