Welder joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques. Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process. Being a Welder inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness. Familiar with and complies with all safety requirements and protocols for working in a hazardous environment. Additionally, Welder may prepare the materials and set up for a welding device or robot. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Welder works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. The right candidate will have...
-At least 3 years welding experience
-Strong skill at aluminum or steel welding
-The ability to pass certification tests within 2 weeks of starting
-A proficient understanding of blueprints
Four day workweek (Mon-Thurs)!
Job type: Full-time, 4x10s Monday through Thursday, 6 AM to 4:30 PM
Hourly pay range is $25-35/hr depending on experience and skill
Full benefits package on the 1st of the month after 60 days of employment and paid time off after 6 months - including your birthday. Paid holidays to start.
