Welder joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques. Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process. Being a Welder inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness. Familiar with and complies with all safety requirements and protocols for working in a hazardous environment. Additionally, Welder may prepare the materials and set up for a welding device or robot. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Welder works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Welder Job Summary:
We are looking for an ASME Code Welder to join our team! This is a first shift position (Monday through Friday 5:00 am – 1:30 pm). Some Saturday may be required 7:00am - 12:00pm. Hours are subject to change depending on business needs. No travel required! The incumbent will assist the department by producing ASME Code pressure vessels. May assist in welding for other areas, as needed.
Full-time employees are eligible for a weekly attendance bonus! Eligible employees can receive an additional $1 per hour, for every hour worked, in addition to their hourly wages for working their scheduled shift.
