Welder jobs in Lehi, UT
Welder joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques. Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process. Being a Welder inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness. Familiar with and complies with all safety requirements and protocols for working in a hazardous environment. Additionally, Welder may prepare the materials and set up for a welding device or robot. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Welder works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Welder Details :
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08 : 00am to 05 : 00pm)
- Assembling pieces of metal together or repairing damage in metal components.
- Reviewing blueprints and attention to detail.
- Welding (MIG, TIG, STICK, FLUX CORE).
- Welding Test is part of your interview.
Welder Qualifications :
- Experience in welding (MIG, TIG, STICK, FLUX CORE).
- Ability to work by self or as part of a team.
- Self Starter, reliable and dependable.
- High School Diploma / GED Preferred.
- Must be able to pass full welding test.
- Demonstrated basic mechanical skills.
- Willing to be challenged to improve welding skills to meet high-quality standards.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
