Overview

Specific responsibilities include:

• Welding of rebar of all sizes.
• Fabricating rack brackets, supports, and junction boxes.
• Performing miscellaneous repairs to equipment, trailers, job shacks, and other company-owned items, equipment, and vehicles.

• Fabricating rack brackets, supports, and junction boxes, as well as performing miscellaneous repairs to equipment, trailers, and job shacks.
• Assisting in prefabbing of any and all needed items.

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• Able to keep welding equipment and accessories in good working conditions.
• Reading of blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of welding machines (oil, fuel, etc.), torches, and helix arc equipment.
• Must have a valid driver's license (CDL).
• Certificates in MIG, TIG, and short arc applications.
• Needs to have basic tools to perform the job (hood, gloves, etc.).
• Must be able to report to assigned job site location on time as directed.
• Assist in the safe rigging of materials for installations.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Well-versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.
• Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to perform duties outside the scope of work when necessary.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 51 lbs.
• Repetitive use of arms, legs, hands, and fingers.
• Not afraid of heights.
