Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Developing and maintaining web applications: Writing, modifying, and debugging web applications using Node.js, Javascript, HTML, and CSS. Supporting systems infrastructure in terms of continuous builds and deployment.
• Collaborating with researchers and stakeholders: Support and work closely with researchers and stakeholders to understand their needs and to collaborate on projects.
• Ensuring data privacy, compliance, and security: You will need to ensure that the applications you develop comply with relevant laws and regulations regarding data privacy and protection, while protecting the University's data and systems from unauthorized access and potential cyber threats.
• Project management and organization: collaborate with the design team to gather requirements from stakeholders to scope out primary objectives. Break down development tasks into logical organizational units.
• Staying current with emerging technologies: You will need to keep up with emerging technologies and best practices in web development to ensure that the applications you develop are efficient, secure, easy to maintain, and user-friendly.
