This is a full-time position, in office Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

To excel as a Webmaster at Foundation Software in Strongsville, Ohio, you should possess expertise in designing, coding, and maintaining B2B product websites. Ideal candidates will have previous agency experience and a portfolio showcasing mid to large-sized product sites or e-commerce platforms. Experience in the software or technology industry is preferred, as it aligns with the nature of our business.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Meet with marketing regularly to discuss current and future functionality.
• Monitor and resolve all performance-related issues.
• Troubleshoot site issues (e.g., content, links, order flows, registration flows and transaction logs)
• Debug issues that arise with website performance
• Watch security and perform all necessary updates.
• Make all necessary updates to the company sites, minimizing downtime.
• Update content to reflect current SEO trends as directed by our SEO specialist.
• Test websites for usability and test different browsers for browser compatibility
• Maintain virtual and cloud-based servers, optimizing speeds.
• Contribute to discussions on ways to improve functionality and usability.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to meet needs, improve efficiency, and build out components that meet business goals.
• Create and modify appearance of content pages of the site.
• Function as team lead with outsourced Web staff
• Manage backup servers and failover.
• Test websites for usability
• Gather and analyze requirements.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent experience
• 5 years' experience in a webmaster role
• experience designing coding and maintaining a portfolio of B2B product websites.
• Agency experience would be ideal
• Experience designing/coding should be mid to large sized product sites and/or e-commerce sites
• Experience designing in the software or technology space
• Strong strategic thinking and critical thinking skills
• Able to manage multiple websites.
• Strong working knowledge of all relevant coding languages (PHP, CSS, Javascript, HTML)
• Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress)
• Understanding of Marketing Automation systems
• Front-end development and/or graphic design background helpful
• Excellent communicator, especially regarding abstract concepts
• The drive to own the site architecture.
