Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Administer education, enrollment, and day-to-day operations of all benefits including medical, dental, vision, group life insurance, supplemental life insurance, LTD, 401k, medical and dependent FSA and HSA, COBRA, and FMLA. Handle Benefits questions and issues according to company processes.
- Provide ongoing support and customer service for 1500 employees nationwide
- Prepare payment of invoices and reconcile coverage for all carriers
- Submits check requests and sends timely payments, as requested
- Reconcile discrepancies in the benefits clearing account
- Ensure compliance with all ACA, DOL, and IRS benefit-related regulations and reporting
- Work effectively to make sure benefits plans run smoothly
- Provide analytical and technical support during enrollment periods
- Provides ongoing maintenance of employee benefits files and updating employee records
- Investigates discrepancies and provide information and recommended solutions
- Host educational webinars and in person training, as needed
- Maintains compliance with all company and outside vendor policies and procedures
- Assists with leave of absence benefits and reporting including, but not limited to, communication with and collection of payment from employees
- Contact new employees by phone to assist with questions in benefits enrollment process
- Attend and / or facilitate the weekly benefits overview training, as assigned
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
What We'll Love About You:
- 2 years of benefits or HR related experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Online Enrollment, and ability to type 65 WPM)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Thorough knowledge of benefit-related laws and regulations
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management system
- Paylocity and SharePoint experience preferred
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- High School Diploma or GED Required; Associates Degree in Human Resources Preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
- Must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk, while working on a computer
