As part of the AWS sales organization, SSAs work with customers who have complex challenges that require expert-level knowledge to solve. SSAs craft scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures that address those challenges. This might involve refactoring existing or designing entirely new cloud-based Generative AI (GenAI) systems.

    Specialist SAs play a critical role in capturing customer feedback, advocating for roadmap enhancements, and anticipating customer requirements as they work backwards from their needs. As domain experts, SSAs also participate in field engagement and enablement, producing content such as whitepapers, blogs, and workshops for customers, partners, and the AWS Technical Field.
    GenAI Specialist Solutions Architects combine technical skills in Generative AI, business acumen, and technical sales skills. They are focused on supporting customers throughout the engagement lifecycle and work closely with the teams that support implementation including AWS Professional Services and Partners. SSAs unblock customers and help them get to production faster.     About the team
    The WWSO GenAI team positions AWS as the best place to run production-quality GenAI workloads, providing a secure, reliable and scalable infrastructure as well as higher-level services. As a GenAI GTM Builder, your job will be to create highest-quality go-to-market (GTM) collateral, including customer and internal demos, hands-on labs, workshops, POC accelerators and AWS Solutions. You combine product development skills with agility, ability to build high-quality software that utilizes various aspects of GenAI and highlights AWS capabilities in this area. You need to be able to learn new concepts and tools quickly and work at all levels of the GenAI stack, from model building/tuning to applying higher-level GenAI-powered services to build business applications.

    Bellevue, WA, USA | Seattle, WA, USA
    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 8 years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
    - 3 years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree
    - - Technical Cloud Certification
    - - Proven ability to lead projects with complex challenges with extensible, operationally excellent, cost optimized, and aligned solutions outcomes
    - - Ability to lead a team or small organization-wide initiative with business objectives that are partially defined
    - - Able to effectively communicate across an increasing diversity of audiences internally and externally
    - - Strong ability to determine solution strategy and where to simplify or extend solutions for the best outcome
    - - Ability to influence customer and internal business decision makers as a technical thought leader
    - - Experience developing software across the entire stack in a highly agile environment.

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $122,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
