Web Product Management Director manages the lifecycle of new technology products or feature enhancements. Researches and develops the roadmap for new products or feature enhancements and plans and oversees the product lifecycle. Being a Web Product Management Director gathers insights from customers and the marketplace to understand needs, new technologies, and trends in the market. Guides the conceptualization, requirements gathering, specification creation, release, and implementation processes. Additionally, Web Product Management Director ensures that product delivery schedules and tasks related to all aspects of product development are coordinated with stakeholders to successfully release new products on time and within budget.     PRODUCT MANAGEMENT TECHNICIAN

    Through the selfless giving of volunteer blood donors, LifeServe Blood Center is able to serve more than 120 hospitals across Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota by providing access to a safe, quality blood supply for hospital patients in their critical time of need. LifeServe strives to provide the right product to the right patient at the right time by maintaining a stable, quality blood supply for the community. This is where YOU come in - We're looking for a Product Management Technician to join our amazing lifesaving team. 

    As a Product Management Technician, you will be responsible for accurately packing orders in a timely manner. You will provide superior customer service primarily through phone work to other blood centers and hospitals. Product Management Technicians are responsible for blood inventory management, and ensuring minimum waste occurs. One of the most important duties of a Product Management Technician is to act as the final checkpoint for quality control, ensuring blood products are accurately and safely packaged before being sent to our hospital partners to be used in lifesaving blood transfusions and other medical procedures.

    SHIFT

    7:00am - 7:30pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday

    COMPENSATION

    Wages starting around $16-$17/hour. Time worked after 6p qualifies for shift differential.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Perform distribution procedures according to established policy and standard operating procedures.
      • Labeling of product.
      • Running quality control reports.
      • Packing and shipping of red blood cells and platelet products.
      • Irradiation of products.
      • Documentation review.
      • Initiating returns.
    • Identify, troubleshoot and document problems that may influence the quality or completion of shipping and component manufacturing.
    • Perform data entry and navigation within multiple computer programs.
    • Maintain a safe and clean workplace that meets regulatory and LifeServe expectations.
    • Maintain confidentiality of LifeServe Blood Center donor, team member, financial and proprietary records and information at all times.

    • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
    • Associate degree or higher preferred.
