Under a little-known Supreme Court ruling, LifeWise empowers communities to provide Bible education for their public school students DURING SCHOOL HOURS. Tens of thousands of public school students attend LifeWise Bible classes each week.

About the Job

We are looking for a gospel-centered, results-driven and detail-oriented Web Designer / Content Manager to join our team. Responsibilities

• Human-centric design
  • You design around the objectives set for our end users
  • Your designs reduce friction as much as possible for the user
  • Your designs are beautiful and flow in a natural way for the user
• Dynamic, Responsive Page Building
  • Utilize your expertise in dynamic web design to create responsive and visually appealing web pages.
  • Build pages that adapt seamlessly to various devices and screen sizes, ensuring an optimal user experience.

• SEO Optimization
  • Implement SEO best practices to optimize website content for search engines.
  • Ensure that web pages are optimized for maximum visibility and ranking.
• Web Analytics Maintenance, Optimization
  • Maintain and optimize web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Tag Manager.
  • Track and analyze website performance to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Web Scripting
  • Use your scripting skills to enhance website functionality and interactivity.
  • Implement custom scripts to achieve specific design and functionality requirements.
• Build Web Pages Based on Designs and Requirements
  • Translate design concepts and requirements into functional web pages.
  • Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to ensure that web pages meet project objectives.
• Web Standards Establishment and Enforcement
  • Establish and enforce web standards to ensure consistency and quality across all web pages.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and trends to continually improve web standards.

Skills

• Dynamic Web Design: Proficiency in creating dynamic and visually appealing web designs
• SEO Optimization: Knowledge of SEO principles and techniques to optimize web content
• Google Analytics, Tag Manager: Experience with web analytics tools for tracking and analyzing website performance
• PHP: Proficiency in PHP scripting language for web development
• CSS: Strong skills in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for styling web pages

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain responsive, dynamic, appealing websites
• Portfolio showcasing previous web design and content management projects
• Demonstrated ability to maintain analytics reporting and expand tags/events for new page builds and advertising campaigns
• Working knowledge of current SEO principles and page optimization methodologies
• Experience with WordPress and Elegant Themes/Divi (preferred)

Salary and Benefits

• From $70,000 per year
