Job Overview: In this role, you will play a crucial part in our company's success by efficiently handling incoming orders through multiple channels, including phone, email, and our online customer portal. Additionally, you will serve as a vital link between our customers and flooring installers, ensuring smooth communication and timely resolution of job site issues. As our business continues to expand, we require a fast learner who can adapt to changing demands and deliver results promptly. Essential Responsibilities:
- Efficiently process and manage incoming customer orders from various channels, including phone, email, and the online customer portal.
- Accurately record order details, product specifications, quantities, and delivery information.
- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail when processing orders, recording information, and communicating with customers and installers.
- Identify and address any issues, discrepancies, or challenges related to orders and installations.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments, such as sales and warehouse, to address any issues or discrepancies related to orders.
- Answer customer phone calls; provide appropriate solutions or direct them accordingly.
- Communicate with subcontracted flooring installers via SMS regarding job site deliveries.
- Perform additional duties as necessary to support the team and company goals.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience providing phone-based customer support preferred.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- Ability to accurately perform data entry while speaking on the phone.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and organized.
- Proactive problem solver – takes initiative to identify, research, and resolve problems as they arise; willing to help others when needed to solve issues.
- Able to correspond effectively and professionally via email.
- Experience with Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets, and Shared Drive is a plus.
- Flooring industry experience is a plus but is not required.
