Web Content Director establishes and directs the strategic long-term goals, policies, and procedures for the curation of content utilized on web, mobile, and other platforms. Develops and directs consistent methodologies to analyze content consumption data and to define content needs. Being a Web Content Director determines the long-term resources required to accomplish the organization's business objectives. Leads negotiations with vendors to obtain content. Additionally, Web Content Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Web Content Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.     POSITION SUMMARY
    This position is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining web and mobile applications. In addition, manage customer facing displays and integrations. The ideal candidate is not only proficient in coding and programming but also possesses a creative mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions. Position will act as liaison for marketing and retail based initiatives that require technical skills while also performing basic support. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to work with team or act independently.

     
     
    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
     
    Essential Functions Statement(s)
    • Manage and maintain company websites.
     
    • Manage and maintain company apps.
     
    • Manage company contacts with external development teams.
     
    • Conduct thorough testing of applications to identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and other issues.
     
    • Troubleshoot software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
     
    • Assist in creation of SQL queries and reporting as needed
     
    • Assist in maintaining food ordering kiosks and displays.
     
    • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using the latest technologies and programming in possible languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue.js, Swift, SQL, PHP, etc.
     
    • Have functional capability to install IT assets
     
    • Available for on-call and/or emergency response and support as needed.
     
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Education:
    Completed High School Diploma or GED
     
     
    Experience:
    1 years’ experience in web development
    Strong evidence of development in the form of a portfolio.
     
     
    Computer Skills:
    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
    PC and network skills. Highly competent in HTML, CSS, PHP, JS, SQL or similar languages. Experienced with WordPress or similar editing tools. Satisfactory completion of short coding skills exam.
