    We are looking for a Web Development Manager to play a key role in the management, operations, and delivery of solutions in our digital ecosystem. As a Trex Web Development Manager, you will serve as the primary contact and advocate to lead and cultivate a team of talented, multi-disciplined technologists to deliver world-class user experiences to our customers, employees, retailers, partners, dealers/distributors, and contractors world-wide. We are looking for a strategic-minded individual with strong team leadership, project management, and web management experience. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, strategic-thinker, business savvy, technology passionate and an outstanding communicator. This role is a key member of our Information Technology team.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Put safety first – always.
    • Lead and foster our “people first” culture.
    • Manage and lead scalable web roadmap in partnership with key stakeholders across the enterprise. Provide enterprise-wide leadership in planning, organizing, and directing the design and functionality of the Trex-owned web assets.
    • Partner with stakeholders and business teams including Marketing, IT, product management, retail sales, regional sales, and service to translate business strategies into high-performing web solutions that drive demand for our products and deliver exceptional user experience.
    • Lead a multidisciplined team of internal and external technical resources/professionals to prioritize and lead the creation of new global web experiences, manage information architecture, and web content strategy, and inform and support digital campaigns.
    • Provide expert guidance to the CAT and global marketing team on web solutions best practices, accessibility, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), UX/ UI, testing, personalization, conversion optimization, etc.
    • Develop, prioritize, and execute against a web content plan for the Trex global websites and digital solutions to support the enterprise marketing strategies.
    • Well-versed in analyzing and interpreting analytics, conversion metrics, Voice of the Customer (VoC) surveys, focus groups, and web use patterns and usability studies.
    • Establish and maintain web governance to ensure that all content adheres to company brand guidelines and meets regulatory requirements.
    • Select and manage external vendors, agencies, and cross functional teams involved with designing and developing global web properties and related content and tools.
    • Collaborate with resources and stakeholders in the business and IT to integrate systems and manage data flow.
    • Educate global colleagues through training, web development guidance, and design consultation on best practices.
    • Oversee the optimization and adoption of ecommerce sites on our company web platforms.

     

    EXPERIENCE

    We are looking for leaders with a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and 5 years of experience leading a multi-discipline full stack development team. Ideal candidates will have:

    • Strong communications skills to encourage collaboration between stakeholders, seek collective alignment on direction, and diplomatically influence strategy while remaining focused on solving problems and maintaining a productive and positive working relationship between all teams.
    • Experience with large-scale Content Management System (CMS), Data Asset Management (DAM), Product Information Management (PIM), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
    • Experience with Adobe Solutions, including Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Magento, Mobile App Technologies and related web technologies preferred.
    • Experience integrating with CRMs (Salesforce), ERPs, MarTech Solutions and other enterprise business solutions.
