Being a Wealth Management Specialist keeps abreast of economic conditions and new financial products to inform and advise clients on potential enhancements to existing financial plans and create up-sell opportunities. Monitors client portfolios to ensure appropriate risk profile. Additionally, Wealth Management Specialist follows all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures. May be involved with selling or coordinating the purchase of additional financial products or services to clients. Requires a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or equivalent. May have the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Typically reports to a manager. The Wealth Management Specialist work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. The TCI Wealth Advisors Wealth Management Internship Program immerses undergraduate students in a culture deeply rooted in exemplifying the firm’s core values by putting our clients needs first and caring about our TCI team of employees. This unique opportunity will provide real-world learning in developing and implementing comprehensive financial planning strategies with our team.
During a twelve-week period from September 3, 2024 to November 22, 2024,, students will be immersed with our Advisory teams to experience the process of wealth management as a relationship driven, client first, holistic process of empowering purpose filled lives. Through our thoughtfully designed program, interns will have experiential learning opportunities which include weekly personal and professional development workshops to develop and practice your skills to be a successful team member, training in service roles across the firm, mentorship by senior partners, as well as engagement with industry partners and centers of influence throughout the firm’s network of communities to gain a comprehensive overview of the wealth management industry.
Interns seeking to deepen their understanding of financial planning principles , application of advisory services and discover how, as a fiduciary, we deliver on creating client experience within the TCI standard of care. The program culminates with a capstone project focused on financial planning where you will have the opportunity to present to our Leadership Team and Financial Advisors.
