Waste Water Treatment Plant Manager supervises the operations and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant to ensure compliance with regulatory procedures and reporting practices. Oversees sampling and testing systems, and the testing and maintenance of pumps, conveyors, blowers, and other equipment. Being a Waste Water Treatment Plant Manager ensures staff is up-to-date with all federal, state, and local regulations and environmental guidelines. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or other tech degree. Additionally, Waste Water Treatment Plant Manager typically reports to a manager or director. The Engineering Systems Technician performs or assists in a variety of responsible duties in the design, programming, testing, maintenance, repair, and calibration of the City's SCADA (Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition) systems, asset management software. Will also work with City IT and GIS staff.
