Warranty Coordinator evaluates, writes, and fills work orders and warranty claims. Coordinates warranty information and establishes policy settlements for equipment out of warranty. Being a Warranty Coordinator requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Warranty Coordinator works under moderate supervision. Manage the warranty claims process. Discuss the claim and expectations with the customer, prepare warranty documents, and submit paperwork to department supervisors. Responsible for scheduling warranty appointments, coordinating with vendors for replacement parts, and track factory recalls and announcements. Work closely with the Master Scheduler and Shipping & Receiving staff to ensure that sufficient parts, supplies, and service are available when needed.
