The primary responsibilities are:
- Process and file warranty claims with various manufacturers as instructed by the Warranty Manager.
- Review and clear all assigned warranty claims in pending status on a daily basis.
- Provide rapid response to various requests from manufacturers to ensure warranty claims are processed in a timely manner.
- Prepare all parts and core returns when requested by manufacturers.
- Post credits and warranty payments to the Warranty Receivables Schedule as needed.
- Reconcile the Warranty Receivable Schedule monthly.
- Assist with the follow-up of all unpaid claims as directed by the Warranty Manager.
- Close and post all warranty repair orders promptly.
- Coordinate with others in the department to troubleshoot as necessary.
- Complete Warranty training as required.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Manage time effectively and efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate’s Degree Preferred
- Automotive experience or mechanical knowledge preferred
- Proficient personal computer skills including email, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
- Problem solving and multi-tasking skills are required
The requirements for this position are:

- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associates degree preferred
- No experience required
