Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Worker and Delivery Driver to join our team. The Worker/Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods, loading and unloading rental orders, and providing exceptional customer service with a smile.
Duties:
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including vans, box trucks, and vehicles with manual transmissions
- Load and unload goods from customer trucks or our delivery vehicles
- Transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including friendly interaction and assistance as needed
- Communicate any delivery issues or delays to the dispatcher or supervisor promptly
- Perform basic maintenance checks on vehicles before and after each shift
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Clean and maintain rental items for optimal customer satisfaction
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience driving vans, box trucks, or similar vehicles preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading shipments (up to 50 pounds)
- Familiarity with manual transmissions is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Previous experience in delivery driving or courier services is beneficial, but not required
