Warehouse Supervisor supervises the overall warehouse operations and daily activities of staff. Oversees receiving and stowing, picking and packing, shipping, inventory management, and documentation. Being a Warehouse Supervisor optimizes efficient layouts, workflows, and utilization of warehouse space. Monitors the safety and security of goods and materials. Additionally, Warehouse Supervisor utilizes a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource system (ERP), or other system to track and analyze processes and performance. Implements strong safety polices and procedures. Typically requires an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Warehouse Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Warehouse Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Responsibilities- Focus on driving increases in warehouse productivity
- Supervise warehouse picking and put away processes and strategies
- Assist with the hiring and training of lift truck operators.
- Recommend ways to improve warehouse safety and process efficiency.
- Help maintain a clean and orderly warehouse.
- Assist site management to train, assign work and motivate warehouse staff.
- Help to ensure a safe work environment.
- Effective daily communication with site management, office, and warehouse personnel.
Qualifications and Skills- Prior warehouse supervisory or management experience preferably in agricultural seed manufacturing and distribution related business.
- Experience with SAP or similar inventory systems and MS Windows programs.
- Knowledge of forklift SAP computer inventory scanning system.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Employee team building skills.
- Attentive to detail and accuracy.
- Able to assist site leadership with managing, recruiting, retaining, and motivating staff.
- Must be able to perform physical work including stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, balancing, bending, and repetitive motions. Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus.

- $1.00-$2.00 topper bonus added immediately upon start dependent upon position.
