We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and timely order fulfillment, and implementing process improvements to optimize operations.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations
- Oversee order fulfillment process, including picking, packing, and shipping of products
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement team to ensure adequate stock levels
- Implement lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Coordinate transportation management activities, including scheduling shipments and managing carrier relationships
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Collaborate with other departments to meet customer demands and resolve any issues that may arise
- Analyze warehouse performance metrics, such as profit loss, productivity, and accuracy, and implement strategies for improvement
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and procedures
- Demonstrated experience in order fulfillment processes and shipping/receiving operations
- Proficient in using technology for inventory tracking and reporting
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
