Wafer Process Technician performs tests and experiments required for wafer processing. Sets up processing equipment and performs minor adjustments to equipment within guidelines. Being a Wafer Process Technician designs and executes test runs and disseminates results to facilitate engineering designs. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Wafer Process Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Wafer Process Technician works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Essential Duties
1. Operate 4 dye point machines produce a precision parts.
2. Measure, examine & test completed units to detect defects.
3. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery.
4. Troubleshoot and repair facility machinery.
5. Produce, rework and repair various machine tooling within the drawing and specification requirements.
6. Maintain, clean and secure work area and tools.
7. Secure equipment when not in use.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
9. Adhere to EH&S, Quality, Continuous Improvements and other Company Policies.
