Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for assembling, welding, and building various components according to blueprints and schematics. This is a hands-on role that requires experience in metal fabrication and the use of power tools.
Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Measure and cut materials according to specifications
- Assemble components using various techniques such as welding, soldering, and fastening
- Operate power tools and machinery including press brake machines. Training will be provided for any piece of machinery we have.
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet standards
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and find solutions
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Must be able to listen to directions and have common sense
- Depending on work load and scheduling it might be require to work weekends and/or nights. Otherwise most work will be completed during an 8-10 hour day shift Monday through Friday
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Fabricator. Hourly wage will be based off of experience and skill.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Proficiency in metal fabrication techniques
- Familiarity with operating power tools and machinery
- Ability to use hand tools such as hammers, wrenches, and pliers
- Experience with welding techniques is a must
- Must be versatile and be open to learning and growing your skills
- Must care and take pride in one's work including learning from failure and actively work on improving
- Crane operation experience is a plus
