Being a Wafer Fabrication Operator ensures the quality of final product and provides reports to management. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Wafer Fabrication Operator typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Wafer Fabrication Operator possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. We are seeking a machine operator that has prior experience working with CNC mills, drill presses, handheld trim routers, CNC table routers, or similar equipment. The shop manufactures various HDPE parts in high volume.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual that will create and improve efficiency, organization, and can be relied on to meet schedules. This is a fulltime position, and could become a working lead position for the right candidate.
The perfect candidate will:
Be reliable, honest, hardworking, and manage time well. They will possess prior experience with CNC operations, computers, and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, be organized, take pride in quality work, and respect the equipment.
Training will be provided for specific machine and computer operations for the right candidate.
General skills needed:
This position will require frequent interfacing with computers, reading prints, converting decimal / fractions, and machine user interfaces. There will be material handling, forklift operations, and inventory / organization responsibilities.
