Role Description
The USA Collection Points play a key role in supporting girls, women, and menstruators around the world by receiving Kit components, performing quality checks, assembling DfG Kits and ensuring that DfG Kits being distributed meet DfG’s Gold Standard quality expectations. Collection Point volunteers are significant volunteers who work to contribute to smooth operations of the USA Collection Points. They are committed to creating a high quality washable pad that will meet individuals menstrual needs for many years. The time commitment is 2-5 hours per week.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Being at the Utah Collection Point weekly for 2-5 hours.
Performing Quality Checks
Data Entry
Fixing Sewn Components
Preparing Non-sewn Components for Packing
Communication with Collection Point Team
Organizing Fundraising Opportunities
Packing and Palletizing Kits to Prepare for Big Shipments
Exact duties will be determined after working with the USA Special Projects Coordinator.
