Volunteer Coordinator supervises and leads the daily undertakings of a volunteer program to attract, inspire, train, and deploy volunteers. Leads the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of volunteer workers. Being a Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for training and educating volunteers. Motivates and inspires volunteers to encourage teamwork. Additionally, Volunteer Coordinator evaluates and reviews volunteer schedules and makes adjustments as necessary. Ensures that the activities of the volunteer workers meet the needs of the organization. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Volunteer Coordinator supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. CLASSROOM COORDINATOR: YOUR ROLE
As a Classroom Coordinator, your daily responsibilities are centered around facilitating the effective operation of our program. You begin your day by using the RIP Parent Classroom Training manual to guide your efforts in imparting knowledge and skills to parents. You conduct monthly classroom meetings with parents who have completed the training. You meticulously prepare program sheets for each child participant, marking logs as needed to ensure accurate record-keeping. Additionally, you take charge of maintaining the classroom and its supplies, ensuring a conducive learning environment. Your support extends beyond the classroom, as you assist parents in learning and modeling appropriate behavior, empowering them to apply their newfound knowledge effectively.

The expected schedule is on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 11:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. This allows for flexibility and the ability to connect with clients during both day and evening hours, accommodating their different needs.
