Voice Communications Manager is responsible for managing the policies and procedures of voice communications. Ensures uninterrupted access to all voice telecommunication features including voicemail, ACD or PBX systems. Being a Voice Communications Manager oversees the design and implementation of voice telecommunications networks. Selects vendors and negotiates contracts. Additionally, Voice Communications Manager reviews reports on system specifications in support of system upgrades and makes final decision regarding updates. Involved in long-range or strategic voice communications plans. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a top management. The Voice Communications Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ucross Foundation is seeking a Communications Manager to forward the mission of the renowned artist residency program, art gallery, and creative laboratory for the arts. This is a unique opportunity to join the Ucross team.

POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Deputy Director, the Communications Manager is responsible for coordinating communications activities, branding/design, events, and fundraising activities. This position is charged with helping to 1) raise Ucross’s profile across several key constituencies; 2) support Ucross’s efforts to engage new audiences and strengthen current relationships; 3) present Ucross’s programs, brand, and special initiatives in a positive, professional, compelling way, and 4) working with the President/Executive Director and Deputy Director to boost revenue.
