Annual Compensation Range: $55,000 to $60,000 

FLSA Status: Exempt 

Regular/Temporary: Regular  

Status: Part-time  

Work Location: Warner Center, Fourth Floor, 332 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222-2411  

Schedule: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, Occasional Evenings and Weekends 

Travel Required: Some travel may be required

The Opportunity:  

Be part of a team striving to make a difference! The Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh (ULGP), an organization dedicated to the economic self-reliance, parity, power, and civil rights of African Americans and other underserved in the Greater Pittsburgh area, seeks a Program Assistant.  

As the Development and Communications Manager, you would partner with the President & CEO and Director of Development and External Relations on organizational initiatives and strategic planning to ensure that the goals are met in creative and effective ways. Formulate partnerships across the organization and community to inform, develop and engage community partners that reflect the objectives of the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh. Collaborate to further the organizational mission by implementing and evaluating the annual development plan. Ensure that the development plan fulfills its commitments to staff, funders, community members, Board members, external partners, and other constituents.

Requirements

•  Bachler's degree AND 3 years’ experience    

Required Experience: Pervious communications or related experience.  

Required Clearances, Licenses, and Certifications:  

• Candidates are expected to provide current, valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprints Clearance, and PATCH) prior to their first day of employment.  
• Candidates must have proof of full COVID 19 vaccination status OR be willing to obtain the COVID vaccine OR provide an applicable medical/religious exemption prior to the first day of employment.
