The Construction Manager will plan, coordinate, oversee, and inspect new, rebuilt, and upgraded (Telecom, Fiber, FTTx) networks and ensure optical mainline and drop network is available for launch or product deployments. Ensure standards, processes and procedures for network design and deployments are followed. Perform (Telecome, Fiber, FTTx) field engineering, and work with OSP design engineers, Project managers, and others to create efficient route design and cost estimates. Coordinate permitting and pole applications, joint-trenching, and make-ready for utility poles.
Function as the company representative with other utility and state/local entities for field meetings when opening/closing permits.
Inspect (Telecom, Fiber, FTTx) networks and ensure optical mainline and drop network is available for launch or product deployments.
Serve as a single point of contact for OSP issues and solve fiber cable OSP issues, as well as make recommendations based on priorty and need to ensure the product and budget are maintained.
Maintain project documentation and reporting.
