    We are looking for a full-time Communications Assistant who will work in a positive, mission-driven environment. This position reports to the Communications Director and works collaboratively with other leaders in the organization and region to ensure a strong digital media presence.

    The Communications Assistant is responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring The Learning Lamp's social media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, increase enrollment and improve recruiting strategies.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
    • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
    • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company's social content
    • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
    • Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
    • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
    • Use social media marketing tools such as Meta Business Suite
    • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
    • Work with recruiter to generate a plan to attract talent for high priority positions
    • Manage and optimize Google Ad campaigns - create, update, monitor ad copies, adjust keywords, find suitable bids, and other important aspects
