Overview:
Coordinates and implements digital communication strategies to ensure consistency of messages inside and outside of Mount Nittany Health.
Qualifications:
Education
1) Bachelor’s degree required. Preference will be given to graduates in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience
1) Three years’ experience in Digital Communications, Marketing, and/or Public Relations required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
1) Marketing planning, coordination and project management skills.
2) Strong writing, editing and communications skills.
3) Proficiency in desktop publishing, including Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Canva helpful.
4) Proficiency in learning and adapting new technologies – social media platforms, Google listings, website content management systems, and eNewsletter platforms.
5) Desire to continuously learn and grow as new technologies evolve.
6) Ability to work creatively and cooperatively with all departments and levels of the Medical Center.
7) Must possess excellent organizational skills.
8) Must maintain confidentiality in communications with media and regarding physicians, trustees, employees, and patients.
9) Ability to prioritize and complete assignments independently
10) Must learn health system environment in timely manner to communicate effectively
11) Must display professional mannerism and appearance.
